  1. Acid Rain*
  2. Causes a global rain storm with droplets of extreme acidity.  The rain
  3. drops are a mixture of water, sulphuric acid, formic acid, nitric acid,
  4. phosphoric acid, carbonic acid, and surprisingly citric acid.  The droplets
  5. also contain hydrazine and various other flammable compounds.  Because of
  6. these flammable compounds acid rain will not put out fires.  Further, acid
  7. rain does not harm creatures in general although during the rain it may be
  8. painful to them.

  10. However, trees are extremely vulnerable to this type of rain.  Even the
  11. hardy magic wood cannot stand acid rain.
